Review of Sony’s E3 Press Conference

Sony opened up this E3 conference inside a church, yes, a church. I don’t think anyone had a clue as to why they chose a church, but they did. They started the show by bringing out Gustavo Santaolalla to play some music from The Last of Us Part 2. After a few minutes of that, Sony jumped right into a deep trailer for the game (around 11 minutes). There was an intermission for about 10-15 minutes, but we did get to watch some more gameplay trailers in the meantime.

This conference, like last years, was all about the games. Before E3 even started, we were told that they would be only showing 4 big title games and a few third-party games (that’s exactly what they did). Even though they only showed off a handful of games, I think they nailed it. All 4 of the big game titles had lengthy trailers (The last of Us Part 2, Ghost of Ashisha, Death Stranding, and Spiderman), and they added some third party surprises in as well. One criticism I had (this was a complaint last year) was on the release dates. Not a lot of the games they showed had definitive release dates.

Every game they mentioned and showed I was interested in. I was really impressed with the Resident Evil 2 Remake trailer. I never played the original, so I wasn’t as excited as those people were, but I will definitely have to pick this one up. I was a huge fan of Resident Evil 4 on the GameCube; I even purchased it on the PlayStation 4, if that matters.

There was another surprise in the showing, and that was this new game called Control, by Remedy and 505 Games. All I have to say is, that game looked awesome! Not many details about it yet, but I’m sure there will be in no time. If details drop about this game or another I will be sure to write about it here, so make sure you subscribe to stay up to date on all of my content.

I’ll post more blogs relating to certain games when they get closer to their respective release date. Comment and share below!

If you missed it, I included almost all of the trailers, plus the full press conference below.

Detroit: Become Human

Detroit: Become Human Unboxing

What is up everyone,

Just published a new video over on YouTube about Detroit: Become Human. This is the new PS4 exclusive game from Quantic Dream.

As some of you may know this game came out today May 25, 2018, in North America and is (like previously mentioned) a PlayStation 4 exclusive. It is by Quantic Dream, the same people who made Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. David Cage is the founder of Quantic Dream and creator of these games. If you have played Heavy Rain or Beyond: Two Souls and liked them, I’m sure you’ll like Detroit: Become Human as well. If you haven’t played those games before, I suggest downloading the Detroit: Become Huma demo so you could try the game out for yourself. The demo as I write this post is still available to download from the PS Store. The game is a 79 on Metacritic and has an 8.8 user based rating. In comparison, Heavy Rain did a lot better with an 87 Metacritic score.

Here is a summary of the game provided by Metacritic, Detroit: Become Human Review.

Inspired by the short called “Kara”, Detroit is a neo-noir thriller set in the near-future city of Detroit. Androids, who look exactly like human beings, have replaced humans in most tasks: they are workers, babysitters, gardeners, nurses, teachers, clerks. The story of Detroit starts with an unexplained incident that begins to affect the Androids. Some disappear without any explanation, others have unexpected behaviors and strangely show signs of emotions. The rumors of “deviant” androids start spreading, but no one seems to know what’s really happening… [Quantic Dream]

HideIt Mount PS4 Install

Whats up everyone!

I just uploaded a new video on YouTube of this HideIt wall mount I purchased on Amazon. This one, in particular, is for the original PS4. I have my PS4 hooked up to my monitor at my desk so I figured this mount would work amazingly.

After installing the mount, my desk is a lot less cluttered. It also looks cleaner and the PS4 on the wall is looking sharp too.

Here is the link to the video if you want to go check it out! VIDEO
