Review of Bethesda’s E3 Press Conference

Bethesda’s press conference was a short but enjoyable 30-40 minutes of basically all gameplay from all sorts of genres. They showcased Doom VFR, Fallout 4 VR, Quake, Skyrim on the Switch, new The Elder Scrolls Online DLC, new The Elder Scrolls Legends DLC, The Evil Within 2, new Dishonored DLC, CreationClub and ended the show with Wolfenstein II (not in order of appearance).

All the games mentioned above come out this year but only some of them have received release dates. Both VR games are only coming out for the Vive, from what I heard and none of them got release dates.

I think I’m mostly excited about is Wolfenstein II,  The Evil Within 2, and Quake. All 3 gameplay trailers looked amazing and even better than the originals. Wolfenstein was a funny but crazy montage trailer of everything the games seems to offer. I thoroughly enjoyed it along with The Evil Within 2 trailer. The Evil Within 2 is a sequel to the first Evil Within game and I’m sure you will have to play the first one to understand what’s going on. Hopefully, Bethesda will include it as a pre-order bonus like they did with Dishonored II.

Overall, I was kind of disappointed with the amount of content they showed off and they didn’t have any new IP’s or big wow me game besides Wolfenstein II or The Evil Within 2
