Sony announced yesterday that there will be a new PS4 Pro bundle for the upcoming God of War game. This is one of the best looking official Sony PS4s I’ve seen, I liked the Star Wars one a lot too.
I’ve been thinking about getting a Pro for a while now to hook up to my PC monitor but was waiting for a good bundle to come out. I think this might be the one to get. If you’re a huge God of War fan or even new to the series and like the design, I’d recommend jumping on this bundle. This is a limited edition bundle so who knows how long they’ll be around for.
The retail price for the God of War PS4 Pro bundle is $399 and could be pre-ordered at the links below.
Sony had their 2017 Paris Games Week showcase today which showed off some great new trailers for upcoming games as well as some surprises. The media showcase was about two hours long and showed us a bunch of new trailers for games that are in development, along with some new games. Below are just a few of titles that were on display. I can wait to play some new VR games, along with Far Cry 5, and the new DLC for Horizon Zero Dawn, which comes out next week.

Remeber, you don't need a WordPress account to comment.
So tonight I ordered the PS VR. I was going back and forth about buying it but finally decided to pull the trigger. I bought it online and it should be here by the end of the week. I still have the original PS4 so I was undecided if I wanted the VR headset or update to the PS4 Pro. Maybe later on I’ll update to the Pro or the Pro slim if Sony releases it. Right now I am content with my original PS4. After I saw the games at E3 this year and the games out right now for VR, it was worth buying and jumping into the VR world.
I will post more about the headset and games when I get it in. I will also do an unboxing video!
Let me know in the comments below what you think about VR!
Sony opened up with the show with some sweet music and visuals, granted probably unnecessary but a pleasant addition. Their E3 press conference was all about the games though. Shawn Layden made an appearance only twice during the shorter than usual presentation. (Granted it was shorter than other years but I thought the games they showcased were very good, even the VR stuff). They started off strong and it got somewhat weak in the middle but they ended it strong with a lengthy Spiderman demo. One criticism I have is on the release dates. Not a lot of the games they showed are coming out this year and some didn’t even have a release date shown, so that’s frustrating.
There’s been a lot of criticism about the Spiderman game after yesterday because of all the quick time events, but to me, it’s just like playing Uncharted. I thought the gameplay looked awesome and graphics were top notch.
The games I’m most excited for are Spiderman, Days Gone, and of course God of War. Detroit: Become human looks intriguing but need to see more gameplay and what exactly you do in the game. Shadow of the Colossus is a classic and I definitely will play it again in full HD.
I’ll post more blogs relating to certain games when they get closer to their respective release date. Comment and share below!
Of course, if you missed it, here is the full press conference plus all the official trailers.
